Job Description
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This may include functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role ensures the efficient flow of products from receipt from vendors to shipment to various internal and external customers. This position requires hand unloading floor-loaded containers onto pallets from a conveyor belt on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities
Perform a combination of manual and automated tasks for receipt, storage, and shipment of products
Receive, pick, pack, ship, stage, transport, store, and deliver products
Ensure efficient flow of products from vendors to customers
Hand unload floor-loaded containers onto pallets from a conveyor belt
Adhere to quality guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications
Work on routine assignments under close supervision
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Essential Skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with warehouse inventory, hand picking, unloading, pallet wrapping, general labor, packaging, material handling, loading, and inventory
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hard worker
Willing to do whatever is asked
Flexible with bending, stooping, and picking up boxes by hand off the conveyor belt
Ability to lift 20-40 lbs

Work Environment
The work environment includes warehouse associate shifts from Monday to Friday, with hours varying from 6AM to 2:30PM (currently operating from 4AM-2:30PM temporarily) and from 3PM to 11:30PM (currently operating from 3PM-1:30AM temporarily). Occasional Saturdays are voluntary for temporary employees and mandatory once permanent. On the first day, the 1st shift starts at 8AM for orientation, and the 2nd shift starts at the time of the shift. The attire requirements include wearing appropriate shorts and t-shirts, steel-toe shoes, hair tied up, and no jewelry, phones, or headphones on the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jefferson, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.25/hr.
