Oracle Program Manager 3-ProdDev in Jefferson City, Missouri
Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next generation cloud to support customers running both Oracle and custom workloads. As we do that, we have a mission to engage deeply with all corners of Oracle to keep our customers on track and to drive their success with OCI.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the OCI Release Management (ORM) organization within Oracle Cloud Compliance and Assurance (OCCA). ORM leads Oracle’s end-to-end processes for releasing services on OCI, enabling them commercially to recognize revenue, and deploying services across OCI’s datacenter regions to serve Oracle’s broad customer base. You will be responsible for building and managing complex, cross-organizational programs within ORM that impact both product and business operations for OCI and a range of business-critical initiatives.
ORM program managers partner across Oracle to operate and improve upon the set of release cycle processes, and engage daily with stakeholders representing product management, engineering, program management, operations, and business leadership. The space is fun, large, cross-cutting, and complex. Our projects bring opportunities for exposure across Oracle’s entire IaaS/PaaS/SaaS portfolio, and ownership of large initiatives to onboard the service stack to new fast-paced and high-profile company initiatives. We build new processes, solve new problems, and drive company success at scale.
5-8+ years of project/program management experience, developing and implementing strategy, then executing against large, cross-cutting programs.
Experience creating and managing highly complex operational or technical projects and programs.
Ability to own and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while dealing with ambiguity.
Expertise analyzing large volumes of unstructured data and organizing it into actionable information.
Effective at owning a balance of operational and strategic initiatives as part of your portfolio.
Experience working with large remote, matrixed, cross-functional organizations, which may include operations, development, product management, and release engineering teams.
Experience working in technical settings such as cyber security, systems architecture, cloud computing and/or information systems regulatory compliance.
Adept at influencing without authority and negotiating alignment across diverse stakeholder set.
Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically; you seek out opportunities to evolve programs and operationalize multi-faceted end-to-end processes ranging in size and complexity.
You are a self-starter and comfortable operating at a fast pace with minimal direction.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can accurately articulate project status and risks across teams and up to an executive-level audience.
You possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills leveraging data.
You demonstrate maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence, analytical and leadership skills.
