Parsons Corporation Manager - Architect in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Architectural Manager to oversee the architectural aspects of an Oceanarium project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating the client’s vision into reality by leading a team of architects, designers, and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of this landmark project.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and engineers throughout all phases of the project, from conceptualization to completion.

  • Develop and implement architectural design strategies that align with project goals, budget, and timeline.

  • Collaborate closely with other project stakeholders, including construction managers, subcontractors, and consultants, to integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with architectural plans, building codes, and regulations.

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of architectural drawings, renderings, and documentation to clients, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate them.

  • Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to achieve project objectives within established constraints.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a focus on large-scale projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing architectural projects from concept to completion, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and technical proficiency.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and quality.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Extensive knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, construction materials, and techniques, particularly in the context of aquatic facilities or themed entertainment venues.

  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
