Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, sub-cutaneous injection, IV Fluid therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, insure residential care plans are followed, document on resident charts administer all prescribed orders by physician as directed, insure that all medications and treatments are charted 'after the fact' by the person administering the medication or completing the treatment on his/her assigned shift, provide personal care, change bed linens as needed, ambulate and transfer residents, record vital signs, routinely turn and position residents, be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light and noise control, attend monthly in-service education programs in order to meet facility educational requirements; med-cart duties available also.
