JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY: The IT technician is responsible for assisting users and installing, maintaining and repairing hardware & software components of the organization\'s network and computers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting with network infrastructure maintenance and improvements to include Wireless AP\'s, Switches and cabling maintenance to ensure security, availability and compliance requirements. Set up new desktops/IP phones/cell phones for new and existing employees. Provide support to end users for basic computer access, application, system, device and hardware issues. Assist the IT manager with developing and maintaining detailed processes and compliance documentation and gather information for annual IT audits. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. TRAVEL: Travel (less than 30%). Any computer related certification or degree is a plus but not required. Project management, Organizational skills are a plus. Experience with IT or Government compliance audits are a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Analytical Thinking. Attention to Detail. Self-motivated. Proficiency in: Windows systems (physical and virtual) including Server, Active Directory, Windows 10 and 11. Networking systems and services (Basic Routing, VLANs, VoIP, DNS, DHCP, Print Servers) Linux PHP Programming Patience and the Ability to work well with others (Users, Maintenance Staff and Engineers and Executives). Regular attendance is required. Although very rare, Willingness to work after hours and weekends as needed.
