We will train you.Job FocusResponsible for set-up, tool, retool, operation, inspection and provide statistical process control information for all products produced. Ensure total process/quality control during the production of all partsSpecific DutiesCalculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipersAlign and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machinesMonitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process, ensure proper indexing and fit with correct spindle and feed gears for the job you are producingSelect the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery workMachine parts to specificationsSet up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machine operationsMeasure, examine, or test completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometersSet controls to regulate machineMaintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.General DutiesFollow all processes and procedures. Request a process change via the Process Improvement Change Request ProcedureRemain alert and aware to any health and safety hazards or health and safety violations and report any concerns to management. Comply with regulatory requirements of OSHA, DEC, EPA etcStrive to develop new ideas and techniques to improve process and/or qualityPreferred Experience.
