Otter Tail Power Company Surveyor in Jamestown, North Dakota
Position: Surveyor Location: Any portion of Eastern ND, Northeastern SD and Western MN in the Otter Tail Power Company service territory, preference given to ND locations. (Hybrid remote and flex time eligible.) In this Civil Survey role, you will generate data and information that helps the team achieve project excellence as the company continues to grow and evolve. Some examples of those activities will include:
- Provide survey data for utility mapping/GIS purposes, volume surveys, hydroelectric dam monitoring, easement determination and boundary determination.
- Preliminary and final design of fiber and power lines, overhead and underground, following guidelines of construction standards, engineering, and construction manuals.
- Preparation of drawings for design, construction, easements, boundaries, volume calculations, highway and railroad crossing permits, or other documents as requested.
- Generate, review and revise easements and legal descriptions from the land rights department prior to recording.
- Preparation and completion of real property plats and certificate of surveys in accordance with state statutes.
