Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.

Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.

Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network traffic patterns and identify anomalies that may indicate a potential DDoS attack.

  • Configure and manage DDoS protection technologies and solutions, such as scrubbing centers and traffic diversion.

  • Perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents / requests in a timely manner and within agreed SLA.

  • Execute changes with clear identification of risks and mitigation plans to be captured into the change record.

  • Coach Service Desk and L1 teams for technical and behavioral skills

  • Contribute to the change management process and ensures all changes are carried out with proper change approvals.

  • Audit and analyze incident and request tickets for quality and recommends improvements with updates to knowledge articles.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on DDoS mitigation.

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing DDoS protection solutions.

  • Hands-on experience in responding to and mitigating DDoS attacks in real-time.

  • In-depth knowledge of DDoS attack vectors, techniques, and tools.

  • Proficiency in DDoS mitigation technologies and solutions, such as on-premises and cloud-based protection.
