Aerotek Yard Forklift Operator in Jacksonville, Florida
Aerotek is currently hiring for a Yard Forklift Operator in the Jacksonville, FL area! We are seeking an experienced forklift operator with experience operating heavy-industrial forklifts. This is a manufacturing environment, handling and transporting large material in shipping area and throughout the yard. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire position with opportunity for pay increases and advancement.
Job Description:
Job title: Yard Forklift Operator
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (expect overtime until 4:30pm)
Pay: $18-$19/hr (based on experience)
Location: Jacksonville, FL (westside)
Manufacturing environment (non-climate controlled)
Operate heavy-industrial forklift to transport large materials throughout shipping and yard areas
Inventory control, shipping, and staging orders
Qualifications:
Experience operating heavy industrial forklifts to maneuver and transport large product
Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments
Inventory control experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work overtime
