This person will be doing M&A work, finishing M&A in up south central America, and Italian integration, windows 11 upgrades, data center consolidation.

our client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, project management, and team leadership. The Sr. IT Infrastructure Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT architects, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure that all IT infrastructure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. This person needs to be flexible and agile, Fanatics used to have a PMO but are now relying on this PM come and drive those principles. Main focus of the project they are going to be supporting is acquisition in Italy and then a proflex team in Central South America helping get set up from an identity perspective meaning: active directory, O365, laptops onto fanatics laptop, migrating from a network perspective: if they have on-prem servers, SAS applications that they need to move to Okta.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead and manage the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, using Agile methodologies. Create and manage projects, tasks, and workflows in JIRA or similar project management tools. Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Conduct regular project status meetings, identify, and resolve issues and risks, and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  2. Tech Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of infrastructure projects, including data centers, network systems, server systems, storage systems, cloud services, security systems, and other technology infrastructure components. Ensure that infrastructure projects are designed, implemented, and maintained according to Agile principles, industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

  3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business units, vendors, partners, and other Tech teams, to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure alignment between business needs and infrastructure projects. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure projects, using Agile methodologies. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success. Proactively monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  5. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure that infrastructure projects are delivered with high quality and meet the defined specifications, following Agile principles. Develop and implement quality control measures, conduct regular quality reviews, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and procedures.

  6. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance. Ensure that infrastructure projects are completed within budget constraints and financial goals are achieved, following Agile principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, team leadership, and stakeholder management.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, such as data centers, network systems, server systems, storage systems, collaboration platforms (Office365) and identity management (Active Directory and OKTA).

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects using Agile methodologies, from planning to execution and delivery. Experience with Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban as well as Waterfall and Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Proficient in JIRA or similar project management tools, with demonstrated experience in creating and managing projects, tasks, and workflows.

• Project management certification, such as PMP or Agile Practitioner.

• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements related to IT infrastructure management.

• Experience with budget management and financial analysis.

• Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and evolving business needs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
