We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of medical assistant duties, including collecting patient demographics and triaging patients based on symptoms. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Responsibilities
Collect patient demographics accurately
Triage patients based on their symptoms
Assist with medical record keeping using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Monitor and record patient vitals
Provide excellent customer service to patients
Support front desk operations as needed
Follow medical terminology and healthcare protocols
Essential Skills
1+ year of experience in a fast-paced clinic environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Ability to monitor and record patient vitals
Excellent customer service skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Medical Assistant diploma or certification (preferred but not required)
Additional 1+ years of MA experience (preferred)
Work Environment
You will be working onsite at a primary care clinic, seeing between 20 - 30 patients a day. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
