Headquartered in beautiful Carlsbad, CA, we are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.

RQ Construction is looking for a dynamic and motivated

Benefits Coordinatorto join our Human Resources team! In this key role, you'll assist in managing our comprehensive benefits and retirement programs, ensuring our employees have the support they need to thrive.

What You'll Do:

Track new hire eligibility, enrollments, and waivers Assist employees with benefits questions and troubleshooting Ensure accuracy of benefits enrollments and eligibility data Support the Payroll Assistant with insurance billing reconciliation Manage employee 401(k) enrollment and plan changes Collaborate with the Benefits Administrator on open enrollment and benefits updates Provide frontline support for disability claims and leave of absence processes

Qualifications/Experience:

Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or benefits administration Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; Oracle experience preferred) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally Construction industry experience a plus!

Pay:$23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience
