My client is hiring an Accounting Supervisor to join their large and growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background specific to Cost Accounting and Inventory Management. Additionally, must be CPA certified or on the CPA track to obtaining it within a timely manner. This organization offers full benefits and a guaranteed succession plan. The company is seeking a go-getter that is eager to grow into an Accounting Manager role and eventually into a Controller level position.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
CPA or CPA Eligible REQUIRED
Manufacturing experience required
Cost Accounting & Inventory management required
8 plus years of progressive experience in accounting
1-2 years of leadership experience

responsibilities:
Cost planning: Leading the cost planning and forecasting process with various departments, including supply chain, capacity planning, and manufacturing overhead
Product costing: Setting up, maintaining, and revaluating product costing
Inventory: Managing the inventory revaluation process, including vendor on-boarding, payment terms, and spending analysis
Financial reports: Preparing and analyzing monthly P&L statements, including variance analysis, trends, and flux analysis
Cost reports: Overseeing the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits
Cost reduction: Leading the advocacy for material variance mitigation and cost reductions
Internal controls: Establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
CPA or CPA Eligible REQUIRED
Manufacturing experience required
Cost Accounting & Inventory management required
8 plus years of progressive experience in accounting
1-2 years of leadership experience
