Job Description:

The Department of Cardiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine -Jacksonville seeks a fulltime Heart Failure Cardiologist at the academic rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, Full Professor. This is a non-tenure track position. This position will report directly to the Chief of Cardiology.

Our internationally recognized faculty are leaders in cardiac care, research and education. Located in Jacksonville Florida, The Cardiovascular Center is a state-of-the art facility servicing North Florida and South Georgia and is home to 19 full-time faculty, 15 NPs, and 19 cardiology and subspecialty fellows. Our rapidly expanding Cardiovascular Program is focused on the tri-partite mission of education, clinical care and research.

Responsibilities

• Participates in off campus clinic rotation. Approximately one day a week will be in one of the Cardiovascular Centers off campus location.

• Provides and maintain a high level of quality in-patient and outpatient care for heart failure patients.

• Active participation in Cardiovascular Fellowship training in the heart failure

• Ensures the maintenance of accurate, complete and timely patient and other records regarding heart failure program in order to facilitate the delivery of quality patient care.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable; commensurate with experience and qualifications
