Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tool Crib Attendant for a 6–8-week assignment to provide outstanding customer service by managing inventory and issuing items to customers. This role requires immediate availability, as it is to cover for a current employee on leave.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit and promote core behaviors among associates.

  • Ensure a culture of safety is maintained.

  • Issue products to customers efficiently.

  • Process orders quickly and accurately.

  • Refill vending machines and restock cell cabinets.

  • Resolve transaction errors promptly.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.

  • Receive product returns from customers.

  • Receive inventory shipments.

  • Participate in customer safety and production meetings.

  • Perform all work according to contractual requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Basic computer operation proficiency.

  • Knowledge of position-specific programs, including Excel.

  • Excellent oral communication skills.

  • Punctuality and a sense of urgency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Product knowledge is advantageous.

  • High school diploma required.

  • 1-3 years of experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as eye and ear protection, and other required gear like steel-toed shoes and head protection, are provided. The work environment includes exposure to elements like loud sounds, dirty surroundings, and occasional heavy lifting. The schedule may include frequent changes, weekends, and evenings. Employees are required to regularly speak and understand English, and must be physically capable of standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds is required, with specific vision abilities necessary for close work and focus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
