Position: Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer Location: Jackson, MN Type: Full-time Contract Hours: 6:30am- 3:00pm (these can be flexible) Pay: Starting at $31/hr. and up based on experience Job Summary: As an Entry-level Manufacturing Engineer, you'll dive into a fast-paced manufacturing environment alongside a team of seasoned professionals. This is a full-time contract position with the potential to evolve into a permanent role. If you're hungry for an opportunity to learn and grow within a renowned organization, this is your chance! Responsibilities: -Provide troubleshooting assistance for the designated production area. -Assist the production leads and process technicians in performing work observations and problem- solving activities for the designated production area. -Assist in the updating of production processes to ensure quality and reduce cost in the product. -Responsible for creating clear work instructions. -Train operators in the updated production processes through the use of work instructions. -Support quality and lean initiatives. -Perform all other related duties as assigned. Education/Qualifications: -Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related field. -Analytic skills: Ability to use MS Office, 3-D modeling software to effectively identify issues, summarize data, and present information in an intelligent way for managers and directors to make effective decisions. -A motivated, self-started with the ability to work with minimal supervision. -Problem solving and strong analytical skills a must. -Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company. -Ability to design, carry-out, and document tests. -Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies desired, but not required. -Strong organizational skills and ability to multi- task. -Regular attendance and good work ethic. -Ability to take supervision and get along well with others. -Safely perform essential job responsibilities. -Ability to read, write and understand English. ?Benefits:? -Health Insurance? -Dental Insurance? -Vision Insurance Other?requirements:?
