Job Title: Trim Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trim Carpenter to work on-site at a new apartment building in Jackson. This is a contract position for 2-3 months where you will be working under the guidance of a foreman to complete cabinetry and trim work.

Responsibilities

  • Receive daily instructions from the foreman.

  • Perform finish carpentry tasks including cabinetry and trim work.

  • Utilize hand and power tools for various construction tasks.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and construction.

  • Install doors, framing, drywall, and metal studs as needed.

  • Assist in new construction and commercial construction projects.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in finish carpentry and cabinetry.

  • Proficiency in trim work and general carpentry.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.

  • Experience with door installation, drywall, and framing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in residential construction is a plus as you will be working on an apartment complex.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
