BorgWarner Morse Systems is the world leader in automotive chain systems for engine timing and power transmission/torque transfer. The Ithaca division is located on Warren Road in Ithaca and has been in this region for over a century. We are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift production operators at this unionized manufacturing location. We have openings in many areas including, but not limited to chain manufacturers, machinists, press operators, heat treaters, material storekeepers, and tensioners.

Education/Experience:

Manufacturing and mechanical experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidatesExperience working in an manufacturing environment is helpfulThese openings are for 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm – 7am), with occasional weekend openingsMust have the ability to communicate effectively using oral and written methods, as well as understand written instructionsSome computer proficiency is required for training and accessing/entering production informationBasic math and measurement skills requiredSafety and Environmental Impact are important to us, so adherance to our policies and procedures is criticalAbility to work as part of a team or independently is desired.
