CFCU Community Credit Union Deposit Product Manager in Ithaca, New York

The Deposit Product Manager is a strategic role that provides leadership over the research, planning, development and management of the Credit Union's consumer and business deposit products . This includes the research of industry deposit products, the development of new products for CFCU, and the development and modification of policies and procedures which enhance service delivery and ensure that operations are completed in accordance with established standards and legal requirements. This role will direct and oversee various functions related to said deposit accounts and will supervise the departmental employee(s) as the department expands. Responsibilities:Serve as the process owner for the research, development, and management of consumer/retail banking and commercial/business banking deposit accounts. Participate on project teams and or special committees, as necessary.Oversee deposit product service functions including Courtesy Pay and Overdraft Protection to ensure functionality of said functions and development and maintenance of reporting metrics. Serve as the deposit product leader on the Fiserv DNA core system Enhancement Committee. Assist with Fiserv DNA core system updates or releases including testing, any related documentation, and communication to CFCU staff relating to all consumer/retail banking and commercial/business banking deposit products in conformance with CFCU’s Change Management Procedures. Collaborate with Compliance and other internal departments as appropriate in regulatory changes and assist with the integration of those changes into CFCU’s policies and procedures.Engage with internal and external auditors/examiners in collaboration with internal departments on comprehensive audits and respond to and initiate corrective action.Management of applicable deposit product vendor relationships.·Collaborate with Compliance and other internal departments as appropriate for the maintenance of any member facing documents, specific to deposit products and related functions.Serve on the ALM Committee and Regulatory Committee.Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Three to five years of similar or related experience or two to four years managerial experience preferably in back-office operations in a financial institution.A four-year college degree (BS/BA) is strongly preferred. Equivalent experience is required. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves significant personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.Strategic/creative thinking to support the needs of our members. Minimum Salary: 60000 Maximum Salary: 65000 Salary Unit: Yearly
