What you can expect from The Role:
Accountable for the implementation of the Utilities Procurement strategies and best practices in Namet
Support and lead procurement role in the extended Supply Chain decarbonization strategy regarding Portfolios
Support and guide procurement organization in Namet Factories to meet their Utilities targets and objectives
Pro-actively engage with the utility & Decarb procurement community and peers to understand the strategic plan in their respective PMU and drive best practices
Engage with key Utilities and Decarb suppliers and develop deep understanding of their capabilities and solutions.
Be aware of Utilities, including New Green energies industry key drivers, new technologies and new sustainable capabilities.
Support identifying opportunities across Supply Chain and their connections with Utilities, Decarbonisation, Renewable Sources
Take ownership and lead projects across MBS to deliver the One MBS agenda a part of the portfolio across the key areas of Partnership with Purpose (PwP), RSP, Sustainability, CLM, F4G, Cash, People well-being, etc
Business Relationship management
Establish successful Ways of Working between stakeholders and Procurement
Develop and execute ongoing communications with the stakeholders for the selected sourcing strategies and progress within area of spend responsibility
Manage the relationship with key partners as part of the portfolio in the context of the Unilever Partner with Purpose (PwP) programme.
Does this sound like You?
Experience in procurement
Experience leading the procurement rol leading projects
Experience in deacrbonization and renewable technologies is a plus
Ability to analyse sourcing data and conceptualise sourcing strategies to identify / propose sourcing opportunities while setting Portfolio strategy or developing negotiation strategies
Influencing skills to promote ideas and concepts back to stakeholders and budget holders in a Business Partner capacity
Problem solving skills to analyse information to evaluate internal demand and external supplier information and extract critical cost opportunities
Financial understanding of the supplier cost models and lifetime cost of acquisition
Negotiation abilities to develop win-win situations with key suppliers
A Partner with Purpose (PwP) ambassador, Innovative thinking to measure and promote supplier performance Curiosity to use, or suggest adaptions to, new technology to provide cost reducing or value creating support
Ability to communicate effectively in English language.
ESSENTIAL
5+ years experience in Procurement
Experience in Utilities procurement areas is a plus
Experienced in setting up and managing complex supplier contracts
Proven commercial operator and excellent negotiator
Experienced in stakeholder and supplier management
Strong communicator with experience in working successful in virtual team environments
