As a Staff Electrical Engineer , you will be responsible for: * Create PCB design requirements and specifications with input from other engineering teams. * Own PCB schematic designs and drive board layout, assembly, and testing. * Create and execute verification plans written for board designs. * Participate in design integration activities with cross-functional engineering teams. * Hold and attend detailed design reviews for PCB designs. Required education and skills to have for the success of this role: * Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering * 5+ years of experience with high-speed and/or analog PCB design. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Good interpersonal and organizational skills. * Experience designing analog and digital circuits. * Familiarity with schematic capture tools (Mentor Graphics preferred) and PCB layout tools (Cadence Allegro or similar). * Experience with board stack-up, layout requirements, and layout constraints. * Familiarity with EMI/EMC design best practices. * Filter design and signal processing experience is highly desirable. * Ability to apply basic scientific reasoning to resolve technical problems. * Medical device design experience and basic understanding of regulatory requirements for medical device design control and manufacturing is preferred. * Willing to travel for off-site support 5%. The pay range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
