Providence St. Joseph Health Lead MRI Technologist in Issaquah, Washington

Description Provides technical expertise and training to technologists in the department. Interacts with designated radiologists on protocol development, implementation and maintenance. Is responsible for assuring QC/QA is performed as required as well as coordinating patient flow to provide the safest, best possible experience for the patient. Coaches and mentors the components of safe, high quality, outstanding patient service. Performs a variety of tasks and procedures requiring independent judgment. Required qualifications: Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program required. upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Or within 1 year of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists. 2 years Experience as a radiologic technologist. 2 years Experience as an MRI technologist.
