We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Metal Fabrication Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC programming and metal fabrication, with a focus on precision and quality. This position will involve programming CNC machines, setting up and operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities
Utilize expertise in drafting and CNC programming to manage system records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Coordinate with various departments to update drafting information and dates across platforms such as eSub and other relevant locations housing drawings.
Assist in the process of material take-offs to determine the required materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Collaborate with the team to optimize sheet layouts, maximizing material usage and minimizing waste.
Input field sizes into shop drawings accurately, ensuring alignment with project specifications and requirements.
Participate in meetings and discussions to provide technical expertise and support on drafting and CNC programming matters.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to drafting, CNC programming, and metal panels/cladding.
