Responsibilities:
- Pass medications and deliver required nursing care, personal care, treatments, and psychological support to assigned residents in our assisted living areas.
- Observe and report resident conditions of concern and support the commitment of Residents Rights.
- Redirects and provides activities and/or communicates appropriately with the cognitively impaired.
- Assists in maintaining resident and unit area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Assists with meal service, clean up, and light cooking to accommodate individual resident requests
Skills and Experience for Success:
- Registered Medication Aide Certification
- Previous memory care experience preferred
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to communicate and interact competently on a one-to-one basis with residents and family members.
- Ability and desire to engage residents in a variety of daily activities.
- Ability to take initiative for resident care and daily enjoyment.
