Essential Functions

We are currently looking to hire Traveling Carpenters for projects throughout the United States. This role requires extensive TRAVEL (4-8 weeks before return trip home), which is paid for by DAVACO, Inc. As a member of the DAVACO team your job will encompass different levels of responsibility that require professionalism and confidentiality. Below is a partial list of responsibilities.

Job Attributes and Skills

Must be presentable with a clean-cut appearance.

Daily communication to project managers/ supervisors/ field manager.

Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Ability to work alongside coworkers / Take direction.

Must be able to stay on scheduled timelines.

Have advanced experience and owns all hand/cordless tools necessary for a Lead

Carpenter including these: cordless skill saw, grinder, trim router, Sawzall power tools and your own tool box to travel with and check under a plane. (Tool list provided)

Have good communication and organizational skills.

Be technologically savvy - Smart phone, texting, and email.

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ability to prioritize work, maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situations.

Ability to lead by example.

Have the skill sets to perform at the highest quality level at least 3 of the components below:

Remodeling experience - Residential OK, Commercial Preferred. Experience with Interior Refresh/Renovation work in all aspects. Experience with counter installation in commercial locations. Cabinet installation and modification Countertop installation (Corian) Casework installation Drywall installation Paint Tile Some flooring; carpet squares, VCT Digital board installation; kiosks, menu boards, POS Lay-outs Store fixture installation Physical Requirements

Will need to be comfortable working in a retail or light construction environment where temperatures may vary

May be required to stand, walk and repeat physical motions for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift and/or pull, push 50 lbs. without assistance

Must be comfortable with climbing ladders, stooping and crouching Disclaimer
