Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of related manufacturing experience

• Electrical and Hydraulic experience
• Technical Understanding
• Safety knowledge of equipment and environment
• Knowledge and use of Power Tools
• Attention to Detail
• Flexibility
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Good Attitude, Good Attendance, and Good Performance are required and will be monitored and reviewed.
• Ability to make effective decisions, seek to find solutions to problems, work independently
• Attention to detail with ability to act and think analytically to meet job requirements
• Overtime and/or weekend hours required to meet customer demands

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
