Job Title: Merchandising Data Analyst
Job Description
As a Cost Data Analyst, you will identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies between merchandising data and wholesale food supplier data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems. You will conduct detailed data analysis to support merchandising decisions and provide actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Identify, analyze, and resolve out-of-sync issues between merchandising and supplier data.
Perform detailed data analysis to support and enhance merchandising decisions.
Collaborate with the merchandising team, IT department, and suppliers to understand data flows and implement solutions.
Develop and maintain reports tracking data synchronization status, discrepancies, and resolutions.
Present findings to stakeholders and recommend improvements.
Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance data quality.
Implement best practices for data management and synchronization.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data synchronization processes, issues, and resolutions.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-LOOKUP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
