Description We are in need of a Systems Engineer III to become an integral part of our IT infrastructure team. Located in Irvine, California, your role will involve the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-level systems. You will also be responsible for leading complex projects, offering technical expertise, and ensuring our IT infrastructure is prepared to support the operational requirements and expansion of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux-based server infrastructure across various locations, including retail outlets, corporate data centers, and branch offices.

• Design and maintain the corporate Active Directory infrastructure, with tasks such as managing intricate Group Policy Objects, supervising multi-site replication, and conducting security hardening.

• Oversee the transition of services to Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Azure AD, and other cloud-based solutions. Ensure these new systems integrate smoothly with existing on-premises ones.

• Supervise the disaster recovery and business continuity plans for both the primary and backup data centers to minimize downtime during emergencies.

• Provide Tier 3 support, resolving escalated issues from other engineers and IT teams for complex system issues.

• Work with IT leadership to formulate strategic plans for infrastructure enhancements, capacity planning, and the adoption of new technologies.

• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend new technology to enhance system performance, security, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to systems architecture, processes, and disaster recovery plans.

• Guide entry level and detail-oriented engineers, offering technical advice and fostering their growth. Requirements • Position: Systems Engineer III

• Required minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related field

• Proficiency in Backup Technologies is essential

• Strong experience with Azure Active Directory is expected

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise is necessary

• Experience with VMware and VMware Infrastructure is required

• Knowledge of Hypervisor technology is a must

• Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and execution is expected

• Familiarity with Hosted Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Exchange Server is required

• Proficiency in using Intune is necessary

• Experience with GPO - Group Policy Objects is expected

• Expertise in Linux Technologies and Linux operating systems is required Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
