We are seeking a Digital Delivery Lead (DDL) with a specialization in Civil 3D. This role requires the candidate to plan, configure, implement, and support digital delivery, including Computer Aided Design (CAD) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) needs on projects. This role also requires the candidate to work closely with the Practice Directors of Civil, Landscape Architecture, and Digital Delivery to further support the work of our disciplines working with CIM platforms.
You will be responsible for researching and helping standardize civil information modeling; CIM workflows across our design practice and organizing and communicating CIM technical information from the Global team to support the local office. Work will be performed under the supervision of the national manager, with close alignment with other Digital Delivery Leads and Design Leads. The successful candidate will collaborate with the rest of our Federal team to share innovations and expertise. This is a support role focused on project requirements with an emphasis on supporting the organizational need for innovation and process transformation within the CIM space.
As a Digital Delivery Lead, you will be expected to perform the following:
Oversee the application of market technologies (CAD/CIM/BIM/Digital Delivery) and ensure approach adheres to internal and client specific requirements
Create and implement CAD/CIM/BIM/Advanced Modeling Execution Plans
Maintain, upgrade, and provide innovation for CAD/C3D templates
Setup and review models for compliance with the execution plans and project standards
Support design package project deliveries - Identify, evaluate, and expand the efficiency of software and workflow using automation/API tools
Maintain integrated CIM, run clash detection reports, run model standards and health audit reports, maintain issues log, and resolve issues
Support troubleshooting software issues, and ongoing learning new software tools
At least 3 years of professional BIM/CIM experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, familiarity with Autodesk Revit preferred
Proficiency with Navisworks or Revizto, including the ability to setup clash reports, rules, and selection sets
Proficiency with creating client audit reports and other deliverables
Understand project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination, and fabrication preferred
Proficiency with editing software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks and projects under constant deadlines
Ability to receive guidance and direction from peers
United States Citizenship
Ideally, you will also have:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or at least 5 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree)
Digital Delivery (CAD/CIM/BIM) experience leveraging and managing technology in facility design and construction
Familiarity with US Federal CAD/BIM standards
Experience within US Federal design projects
Ability to provide Navisworks and other design software training
Ability to develop technical information and presentation material for response to RFIs (Request for Information)
Ability to research and stay current on CAD/CIM/BIM related software and technologies
Ability to participate in user group meetings for CAD and BIM related software
