Adecco US, Inc. Payroll Specialist in Iron Mountain, Michigan

Adecco is assisting one of their top clients with their search for a Payroll Specialist in Iron Mountain, MI.

This role is paying $25-27/hr.

Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

· Process weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees

· File federal and state payroll taxes

· Upload retirement plan and HSA contributions

· Track wage changes per union contract

· Manage IBEW trust accounts

· Manage FMLA time

· Maintain employee files in ERP system

· Track vacation and sick leave accrual for all employees

· Post cash receipts daily

· Run accounts payable checks weekly

· Process accounts payable vouchers as needed

· Willingness to work overtime as needed

Education: Associates Degree in Accounting preferred

Experience: Minimum three years office experience in Accounting with one year payroll experience preferred

Skills needed for Payroll Specialist

· Experience with payroll processing

· Proficient in MS Office Suite

· Good communication skills

· Strong organizational skills

· High level of attention to detail

· Ability to work with individuals throughout the organization

· Previous experience with handling sensitive and confidential information

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
