WTW Account Executive - Cyber/Technology Professional Indemnity in Ipswich, United Kingdom

The Role

A role for an Account Executive has arisen for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to join the Cyber/Technology Professional Indemnity National Team which forms part of the Financial and Executive Risks (FINEX) global line of business.

This is a hybrid role feeding into our Ipswich office.

Responsibilities

Within the role you will have the responsibility for developing and supporting a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention, new business development, client strategy and placement.

You will manage and develop client WTW relationships and grow the portfolio within the business unit.

Broking

  • Execute placements from Non-Binding Indication to confirmation of cover for a portfolio of clients from a variety of industries

  • Co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business within the Insurance Market.

Client/Network Engagement

  • General support to clients by email, telephone and face to face meetings as required

  • Putting together market submissions and understanding clients’ needs, and summarising market feedback accordingly

  • Developing new and existing clients, guiding them through the process from initial meetings and engagements to binding first policies

  • Develop/Establish relationships with underwriters

  • Preparation for market presentations to ensure client’s requirements best presented

Operational / Portfolio Management

  • Quote production, endorsements, and processing (new policies and regular endorsements)

  • Updating the relevant WTW technology platforms/tools/spreadsheets (premium/brokerage)

  • Working with the accounts team to ensure timely production of invoices

  • Assisting with claims as and when required

The Requirements

  • Knowledge of Cyber and/or Technology Professional Indemnity insurance would be ideal, however other insurance market experience will be considered

  • Experience of managing client relationships

  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation

  • Willingness to work towards CII qualification within a reasonable time frame (if applicable)

  • Solid understanding of insurance market dynamics

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail

  • Proficient in MS Office
