ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION: GROUNDSKEEPER
12 Month Contract Full-time Position (Hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for keeping all areas of the Campus mowed, trimmed and weeded
in a proper and presentable manner and assist with maintenance, campus
building checks and additional duties as assigned.
Position Description
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, or G.E.D, required. Previous experience helpful. Must
be able to lift and stack objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and frequently
exert 40-60 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move
objects. Valid drivers license. Successful completion of background check.
LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus
SALARY: Hiring wage dependent upon experience. Excellent benefit package including
paid medical/dental for employee only, generous vacation, sick leave,
personal day, paid holidays, tuition discounts and KPERS.
STARTING DATE: Negotiable. Open until filled.
