ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION: CUSTODIAN (Temporary summer positions)
Part-time summer positions only (20 hours per week)
8 am 12 pm or 12 pm 4 pm. (Monday-Friday)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Part-time custodial staff will assist in painting and cleaning college
dormitories including kitchens, bathrooms as well as some light maintenance
work (changing light bulbs, hanging blinds, moving furniture in dorm rooms).
We anticipate hiring 10 individuals for these temporary positions.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, or G.E.D, required. Must be at least 18 years old. Must
be able to lift and stack objects from approx. 25 up to 50 pounds occasionally
and frequently exert 20-30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or
otherwise move objects. Successful completion of background check.
LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus
SALARY: \$15.00 per hour for temporary position no benefits.
STARTING DATE: June 3 July 26, 2024 (approximately)
