What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS USAREUR-AF Foundry Support Technician

you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF)mission areas. The USAREUR-AF TMISS Team will research, analyze, and produce near- and long-term all source assessments on terrorism / counterterrorism, and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to CG USAREUR-AF’s priority intelligence requirements and to enable U.S. and foreign partner counterintelligence operations.

You will be a member of a team that supports the Intelligence Directorate of the Army Component Command of both the US European Command and US Africa Command.

More About the Role:

As a CACI SOAS USAREUR-AF Foundry Support Technician you will embed at the Main Post in the city of Grafenwoehr, Federal Republic of Germany and may travel within both theaters as required, to perform services at locations within the USEUCOM or USAFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

These positions are contingent upon SOFA approval or commensurate work-Visa requirements at the primary place of duty. Employee must be willing to work shifts, overtime, and/or deploy to austere or hostile fire zones as required.

Other duties as Foundry Support Technician will include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the USAREUR-AF G2 functional area expert for intelligence-related training programs, providing expertise and guidance to ensure effective training delivery.

  • Serve as a DTS Reviewing Officer (RO) within the DTS claim process, limited to 5-level responsibilities, as outlined in the appointment memorandum. Acknowledge and address the risks associated with contractor involvement in DTS work due to their exemption from pecuniary liability, expectations, or limitations under existing U.S. law.

  • Assist in managing multiple training programs in support of various USAREUR-AF contingency, mobilization, and exercise plans, contributing to the successful execution of missions and deployments.

  • Assist in reviewing and recommending new Foundry Program procedures, regulatory guidance, and publications to optimize the administration of the program and ensure efficiency.

  • Assist in coordinating policy decisions with the DA and INSCOM Program Managers, fostering collaboration and alignment across intelligence training initiatives.

  • Monitor daily G2 operations and assist in preparing and briefing a running estimate for the USAREUR-AF G2 and senior leaders, providing valuable situational awareness on current intelligence training and operations.

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and funding Foundry training events and exercises to enhance the readiness of tactical MI teams through advanced skills training, home station training, technical certifications, and live environment training.

  • Apply intelligence principles, coupled with a practical knowledge of resource management and intelligence training, to carry out the intelligence function and provide direct technical mission support.

  • Assist in ensuring that USAREUR-AF and subordinate command's training requirements and events are properly documented, maintaining accurate records and facilitating compliance.

  • Serve as an advisor on intelligence training policies and programs, evaluating their effectiveness and relevance to operational requirements.

  • Assist in coordinating training events with INSCOM, FORSCOM, ICoE, ARCYBER, Army OSINT Office, and TRADOC, including advanced skills training, home station training, technical certifications, and live environment training through short TDYs (less than 90 days) to enhance the skills of USAREUR-AF assets in SIGINT, MASINT/IMINT, CI/HUMINT, Analysis/Fusion, OSINT, and Information Operations.

  • Assist in determining, recommending, and justifying planning, programming, and budgeting decisions that impact intelligence training, ensuring effective resource allocation. Manage the Foundry AAR program to validate Foundry training venues and budgetary efficiencies.

  • Assist The Army Language Program (TALP) for the command, supporting the identification and coordination of language program requirements for Military Intelligence linguists, civilians, and soldiers.

  • Assist in providing reports and training statistics in accordance with DA G2, USAREUR-AF, and INSCOM requirements and guidance, contributing to accurate and timely reporting.

  • Assist in managing and requesting other funding sources to support Multinational Intelligence Training initiatives, EUCOM, and USAREUR-AF multinational engagement strategy, including planning and exercise support.

  • Assist in managing the Foundry TDY funding in coordination with the USAREUR-AF Resource Management Office, including serving as a DTS Reviewing Officer (RO).

  • Assist in ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation of Foundry funds monthly, submitting a monthly Foundry budget status report to the USAREUR-AF TREX OIC.

  • Assist in maintaining a list and copy of appointment orders for the unit Foundry Manager for each supported organization, ensuring proper documentation and organization.

  • Assist in conducting annual inspections of all unit Foundry Managers for each supported organization, ensuring compliance and adherence to established standards.

  • Assist with managing European Foundry courses and live environment training in the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), facilitating access and tracking of training resources.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field and 3 years specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.

  • Current TS-SCI Clearance

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • More than 3 years prior experience working with Foundry training environment in a curriculum manager / course supervisor capacity

  • Experience working within the ATRRS system

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100 - 172,400 USD
