About The Job:

The Risk and Operational Compliance (Senior) Analyst analyzes and reviews accounting data, financial statements, and documents to assess compliance with department policies and procedures, Service Organization Controls, and audit requirements. In this role, and in the team this person will actively engage with the client delivery teams as well as other departments to ensure the SOC framework remains relevant.

W What You Will Do:

  • ·Perform advanced compliance system assessments to confirm compliance with all appropriate regulations, practices, and policies for initiatives, inspections, and training.

  • ·Use aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete report of improvement and recommendations.

  • ·Carry out or facilitate with CBRE screening partners the onboarding activities required for CBRE employees across AMS and EMEA in accordance with elevated client requirements – including acting as liaison between the account team and local country CBRE HR and operational teams

  • ·Identify and troubleshoot escalated data integration and integrity issues.

  • ·Assist the team with creating department policies, procedures, and audit requirements for multiple lines of business. Evaluate risk in various compliance areas across assigned businesses utilizing standard tools.

  • ·Be primary point of contact for client onboarding and data privacy audit teams

  • ·Identify gaps within policies and procedures. Review system assessment results to confirm alignment with all appropriate regulations, practices, and policies for initiatives, inspections, and training.

  • ·Coordinate involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.

  • ·Act as a Subject Matter Expert for key internal and external systems, processes, and day-to-day functions – especially as related to onboarding and screening systems, processes, and requirements to align with elevated client requirements

  • ·Communicate results and significant violations to management.

  • ·Document global definitions, processes, and practice to ensure consistent usage.

  • ·Mentor junior associates.

  • ·Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

  • ·Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • ·Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • ·Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • ·Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • ·Manage attestation documentation with respect to onboarding and screening activities

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. 2

  • Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to present information with executive presence.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly sophisticated problems.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.

• CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Risk & Compliance Analyst position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Risk & Compliance Analyst position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
