Oracle Senior Marketing Strategist in Indianapolis, Indiana
Job Description
As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior level consulting position is responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions with industry-wide impact focusing on data and customer experience transformations. Leads the client discovery, road mapping and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for crafting and executing innovative customer experience, marketing and data strategies to enhance Oracle’s visibility, attract new clients, and strengthen relationships with existing clients and referral networks. The Senior Strategist will oversee aspects of our client’s customer experience journeys, including sales, marketing, and services from digital campaigns and content creation, to brand management and performance analytics, to martech recommendations and data collection processes. These programs will be within a set of clients to ensure that their mission and values are effectively communicated across all channels. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving growth and fostering client trust with some of the biggest brands in the world. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer experience organizations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings
The Senior Strategist balances data and creativity to produce effective customer experience strategies. To achieve this, some of the job duties include:
Collecting and analyzing market data
Establishing marketing KPIs
Tracking and reporting results
Developing specific data-driven marketing campaigns to reach marketing goals
Researching and forecasting marketing trends and changes
Brainstorming innovative customer experiences specific to the brand's values
Meeting with clients to evaluate needs and provide understanding and feedback
Ensuring experiences align with branding
Creating roadmaps to help clients understand what projects to focus on and what changes have the biggest ROI
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is essential.
Experience:
· Extensive experience in marketing, with a minimum of 7-10 years in a marketing strategy or consulting role.
· Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, with a focus on customer experience transformations.
· Experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a consulting environment, leading and managing client engagements.
· Expertise in data-driven marketing, including data analysis, KPI development, and performance measurement.
· Familiarity with marketing technology (Martech) and an understanding of how to leverage it for client needs.
· Industry knowledge: A deep understanding of marketing trends, competitor strategies, and the ability to forecast market changes.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Oracle's marketing software suite is crucial, including tools for data management, analytics, and campaign execution.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
· Expertise in marketing automation and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms.
· Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing software.
· Proficiency in using data visualization tools to present findings and strategies.
Strategic and Creative Thinking:
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovatively, balancing data insights with creative customer experience design.
· Skill in crafting compelling brand narratives and experiences that resonate with target audiences.
· Expertise in developing comprehensive marketing roadmaps and strategies, considering short and long-term goals.
Leadership and Communication:
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior client stakeholders.
· Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
· Ability to lead and mentor junior team members and effectively manage client relationships.
· Proven experience in conducting client workshops, meetings, and presentations.
Project Management:
· Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work within budget and time constraints.
· Experience in creating project plans, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of branding principles and experience in brand management.
Understanding of digital marketing
Familiarity with content management systems and content marketing strategies.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
