Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare clinic in the Indianapolis area to add a Patient Service Representative to their team. This person will have excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.
Hours for the Position: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities for the role include the following:
Provide administrative support: This includes answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing medication refills, and updating patient information.
Manage patient insurance: This includes verifying insurance eligibility, filing paperwork electronically, and handling other insurance-related tasks.
Maintain the office environment: This includes completing general office duties and keeping the workspace organized.
Additional skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and understand how different parts of a medical office work together.
Requirements
Experience in a medical office preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology and strong understanding of medical insurance processes are preferred.
Experience with NextGen software
