Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This is a very clean environment to meet requirements for battery manufacturing . The current electrical maintenance technician position is responsible for machine upkeep, projects, machinery installation, and all troubleshooting of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting , and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a manufacturing facility.

  • Ensuring optimal performance of electrical systems efficiently and safely, while minimizing production downtime.

  • Installing and wiring new electrical systems at or below 480V for manufacturing equipment and machinery.

  • Performing regular maintenance checks and inspections on electrical systems.

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in electrical circuits, control systems, motors, etc., and providing necessary repairs.

  • Repairing or replacing faulty components such as wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and motors.

  • Collaborating with maintenance teams, engineers, and production to coordinate electrical work on machines or systems.

  • Performing lock-out/tag-out procedures and other safety protocols when working on electrical equipment.

  • Maintaining accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspections, and completing maintenance logs and reports.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience, troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Controls troubleshooting, conduit work, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, and preventive maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of 480V electrical systems, circuits, components, and industrial machinery and automation systems.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and circuit testers.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

  • Familiarity with PLCs and programmable control systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
