Aston Carter is looking to hire a Director of Accounting in Indianapolis, IN. This position offers competitive pay with a top company in the area.
Job Description
Direct support of College GM with key financial activities
Cash & ISP financials: Oversight of College financials (deferral, OD payback, commissions, ISP profitability), new territory buy-out financials and special agreements. Partner with sales team to drive improvement, reduce aged balances.
Proposals & Pricing: Partner with sales team and plant controllers on College proposals & pricing, approval of discounts and promotions/gifts with purchase
Forecasting & management reporting: Partner with Revenue Operations team to drive accurate forecasting of College units and net revenue. Provide monthly variance analysis and management reporting
SG&A management: Partner with SG&A FP&A analyst to manage College SG&A
Accounts receivable: Partner with College direct bill engagement w/ AR & Sales Directors
Trends & opportunities: Partner w/ Revenue Operations team to identify trends and opportunities with the College channel
Annual Pricing: Support corporate pricing team with inputs on annual pricing adjustments
Licensing: Oversee licensing agreements across the business
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
10 - 15 years of relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Commercial Finance or FP&A experience a plus.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Operate well in the grey/with ambiguity
Has an attitude of getting things done through partnership with others
Financial knowledge (profitability, pricing, basic manufacturing finance)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $124000.00 - $169000.00/yr.
