Overview:
Xerox Corporation, is seeking a Digital Imaging Specialist who will be responsible for working on-site daily at Xerox’s Reprographics and Digital Imaging Center located in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time opportunity with daytime hours from Monday to Friday performing duties assigned related to large scale document imaging projects.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare customer documents for the digital imaging process.
Check physical documents for quality issues that may complicate the scan process.
Prepare a wide array of document types and conditions for scanning.
Index scanned images according to naming mechanisms outlined by the customer and/or leadership, along with additional post-imaging services.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs, including print and finishing services and customer deliveries in the immediate Indianapolis area.
What You Need to Succeed:
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
1-2 years of reprographic and print shop experience is preferred.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience using smartphone, tablet and/or laptop.
Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet.
Strong attention to detail.
The ability to carefully oversee and manage large volumes of individual documents.
A willingness to learn new skills, as well as adaptability when project details change.
Quality communication with team members to manage project expectations.
High of level of personal job responsibility to manage daily duties with minimal supervision.
Proficient typing skills not mandatory but preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 25-50 lbs.
Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment.
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate controlled.
Project prep and scan work will require finger dexterity and movement between machines for different types of documents.
