American Senior Communities is now hiring a Culinary and Nutrition Specialist
Must be Certified Dietary Manager
The Culinary and Nutrition Specialist works with community culinary managers and staff to ensure regulatory compliance and excellent food service.
Skills Needed
Passion for Education and Training: Effectively educate, train and mentor managers to promote excellence in culinary services.
Problem Solving: Evaluate and assess processes and standards in the culinary departments and work with the manager to develop strategies, action plans and approaches.
Collaboration: Promote teamwork within the culinary department and interdisciplinary team to provide excellent food service to our residents.
Nutrition & Dietary Knowledge: Strong understanding of nutrition, dietary guidelines, budgetary planning and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Must be able to travel between facilities.
Five to seven years of experience in long-term care food service management.
Active Certified Dietary Manager credentialing.
