Advanced Analytics Execution Lead

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). An ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed here: Norfolk, VA; Richmond, VA; Washington, DC; Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL; West Des Moines, IA.

The Advanced Analytics Execution Lead is responsible to act as a technical/analytics leader. Plans and oversees the execution of work for specific analytics teams to achieve desired outcomes. This role will function as an execution leader within an analytics organization.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides technical leadership and guidance to team members to accomplish reporting and analytics goals and objectives.

  • Applies technical knowledge to ensure use of best practices for analytics center of excellence.

  • Reports project status and progress to business unit senior management.

  • Collaborate with analytics leader on the project/team resourcing and skills required to meeting business unit goals/blue chips.

  • Coordinates project management for assigned team.

  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and leaders about technical issues in non-technical terms.

  • Understands the business processes that the system supports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or related field and a minimum 8 years of experience leading project teams, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

  • Report development and requirements gathering in a SQL based environment.

  • Product ownership (Agile SDLC),

  • Statistical Analysis

  • Data visualization (Tableau)

  • Programming (SQL, Python/Jupyter/R)

  • Working with SQL Server, Tableau, and Snowflake platforms

  • Analysis of Social Determinants of Health/Health Related Social Needs

  • Survey Design

  • Knowledge of USCDI/FHIR/Interoperable Standards

  • Knowledge of analytics technologies/methodologies, organizational structure, and customer information needs strongly preferred.

  • Prior project leadership or project management experience strongly preferred.
