DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate – Level III – Law to join our team specializing in Law for our Cummins Inc. facility in Indianapolis, IN

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Efficient Data Management : By accurately gathering, compiling, and entering data into reports, presentations, and office systems, you will ensure that information is reliable and easily accessible for decision-making.

  • Administrative Support : Conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and addressing information requests will provide valuable support to your team and help streamline operations.

  • Effective Communication : Responding to or redirecting inquiries promptly and accurately will enhance communication within the organization and with external parties.

  • Payment Processing : Preparing and submitting documentation for vendor payments and responding to related inquiries will ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

  • Policy Documentation : Documenting and maintaining departmental policies and procedures will help standardize operations and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Team Collaboration : Participating in business improvement projects and assignments will contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and outcomes.

  • Routine Administrative Tasks : Performing tasks such as preparing correspondence, arranging meetings, and scheduling conference calls will support the smooth functioning of daily operations.

  • Mentorship : Acting as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience will foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, helping others grow and succeed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Notary Public preferred.

  • At least 5 years' experience in a legal administrative role or an administrative role supporting people with complex calendars and travel needs.

  • Knowledge of Concur and Ariba beneficial.

  • Knowledge of Legal Matter Management / eBilling systems beneficial.

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and handle critical and sensitive information.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Superior organizational and planning skills including attention to detail.

  • Focused, positive attitude, proactive.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strive to meet and exceed expectations; intuitively understand stakeholder; anticipate needs and provide value.

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and be flexible with last minute changes.

  • Possess a global mindset – global awareness/sensitivity to culture, understanding different cultural norms and expectations.
