Hyatt Valet Cashier/Key Control (Part-Time) in INDIAN WELLS, California
Description:
The job duties of a valet key control attendant typically involve managing the distribution and tracking of keys for vehicles parked by valet services.
Key Distribution : Handing out keys to valet drivers responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles. This involves accurately matching keys to corresponding vehicles.
Key Logging : Keeping detailed records of all keys checked in and out, including vehicle information, time stamps, and driver details. This ensures accountability and helps track the location of each vehicle.
Organization : Maintaining an organized key storage system to ensure quick and efficient access to keys when needed. This may involve using key racks, key cabinets, or electronic key management systems.
Security : Ensuring the security of keys at all times to prevent loss or theft. This may include implementing security protocols such as limiting access to authorized personnel only and keeping keys locked when not in use.
Communication : Effectively communicating with valet drivers to coordinate key handoffs and address any discrepancies or issues that arise. Clear communication helps prevent errors and ensures smooth operations.
Customer Service : Providing excellent customer service by promptly retrieving and returning keys to customers, answering any questions they may have, and addressing any concerns in a professional manner.
Problem Resolution : Resolving any issues related to key mix-ups, lost keys, or misplaced vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. This may involve coordinating with other staff members or management to find solutions.
Maintenance : Regularly inspecting keys and key storage equipment for signs of wear or damage and reporting any maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
The hourly pay-rate for this position is $16.25 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.
