RELX INC Automation Developer II in Iloilo, Philippines
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Engineer with expertise in Power Automate, Python, and web development using Django and SQL. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions and applications that optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work independently while actively contributing to team objectives. A keen interest in leveraging AI and cloud technologies (especially Microsoft Azure) is a plus, as is the ability to stay updated with advancements in automation and software development.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain automation workflows using Power Automate to improve business processes.
Build scalable and secure web applications using Django and manage data using SQL databases.
Create efficient and reusable Python scripts for integration and automation tasks.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for automation and system optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance automation workflows, where applicable.
Utilize Azure cloud services for deploying, hosting, and scaling applications and automation solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows and web applications to maintain high performance and reliability.
Document development processes, technical specifications, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automation development, web development, or related fields.
Expertise in Power Automate, Python, Django, and SQL.
Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of AI tools, machine learning frameworks, or natural language processing is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Azure SQL is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
