As the Vendor Specialist for NA External Repair, you will be the primary point of contact for our repair vendor partners with respect to day-to-day operations, especially with respect to transportation and inventory management. You will forecast transportation needs and own the scheduling and management of transportation to and from our vendors, quickly resolving transportation issues. You will monitor inventory flows to and from our vendors, monitor escalations or inquiries from vendors or returns centers, resolve those escalations, and develop systemic solutions to minimize recurrence of those escalations. You will identify opportunities to improve processes and work with internal or external partners to action those opportunities. Lastly, you will deep dive data to find new opportunities to escalate roadblocks and risks to both business and external vendors.

Key job responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for vendors with respect to transportation and inventory management, managing both and handling escalations and regular business inquires.

• Effectively track and regularly report out on transportation and inventory management.

• Be able to run SQL queries in Hubble to run reports related to day-to-day repair operations.

• Support the creation of and adherence to standard work, for vendors, returns centers, or the repair team; identify ways to streamline or simplify the work for same.

• Report out on WBRs on metrics for your area of responsibility.

• Identify continuous improvement projects that reduce costs, increase speed, improve quality, or simplify the program on behalf of our partners.

• Work cross-functionally with Product Owners, Tech, Business, Finance, Product Safety, Legal, ACES and Operations partners across time zones.

A day in the life

You will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally with ReLo Operations, Finance, Product, Tech organizations. You will also get to work with external repair vendors, those companies that refurbish, remanufacture, renew used product. Your work is dynamic in nature, works at scale across the network, and has both standard work and proactive projects. We have big true north goals, where you work daily on finding ways to proactively achieve them. Lastly, you will dive deep into business performance, input and defect metrics for your business to find ways to drive continuous improvement.

As a member of the US External Repair Team, you will get to work in a team environment, where everyone works to support one another to achieve our goals of zero cost of returns and zero waste. While you will have your own goals and objectives, we tend to work collaboratively as necessary and have mechanisms in place to track your projects, goals and business performance.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong project management and organization skills with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

• Ability to analyze business requirements for functional, non-functional, testability and completeness

• Attention to detail, ability to analyze requirements, raise questions and seek clarifications required for testing

• Ability to prepare and share timely status reports with stakeholders

• Experience with collection, documentation and archival of all required testing artifacts in accordance with controls/audit requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

• Proficient English knowledge, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL

• Networks effectively with colleagues and develops others within the team (cross-training)

• Experience working with minimum 5-7 stakeholders
