About the Team: The Cloud Access Gateways (CAG) team, within Traffic Engineering organization is building the next generation of cloud connectivity solutions. We're responsible for critical infrastructure that enables secure, reliable, and scalable web services across Amazon's global presence.
About the Role:
Join our team of innovators working on large-scale distributed systems that power Amazon's web infrastructure. We're expanding our team to build modern, robust solutions for traffic management and web security at global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement high-performance distributed systems
• Build scalable solutions for traffic management and routing
• Develop sophisticated security and infrastructure monitoring systems
• Create tools enabling rapid deployment of web properties globally
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
