Job Description
As the Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled and experienced software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our clients and stakeholders needs. Your leadership will be crucial in driving technical excellence and fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master degree in computer engineering or equivalent
10+ years of software development experience in a technical capacity
3+ years of leadership experience and managing engineers is preferred.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
Knowledge of agile methods and experience in an agile team required.
You have built and managed high-performing engineering teams and hired top-class engineers.
Demonstrated ability to attract/recruit/retain external talent and be a coach and employee champion.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
Ensure that software development practices adhere to industry best practices and company standards.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution and delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our software applications.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality software by implementing robust testing and validation processes.
Address and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
