Primary Responsibilities:
Lead a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software
Partner with business leadership to manage user stories and project commitments in an agile framework to rapidly deliver value to our customers
Mentor the engineering team to develop and perform as highly as possible
Own the applications’ technology stack and drive modern solutions to complex problems

The complexity of this role can be challenging. We deal with huge amounts of data across our entire enterprise. Everything you work on will have implications that impact others. We’ll provide the most up-to-date technology, but you’ll need to provide creativity, critical thinking and clarity on an everyday basis.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
15+ years of Java/J2EE experience, 5+ years of managing and leading teams
2+ years of hands-on experience in production cloud (public or private)
Hands-on experience with delivering engineering solutions in cloud
Hands-on experience in working with standard DevOps tools:
Build automation tools such as Hudson, Jenkins, Travis CI or equivalent
Build Tools such as Maven, ANT, Gradle or equivalent
Source control tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN or equivalent
Hands-on in designing software solutions and architecture
Hands-on in using design patterns
Experience working with teams that leveraged two or more of the following: continuous integration / continuous delivery tools, REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, IaC, public / private cloud, web applications, web services, application observability and/or messaging / stream architecture
IT leadership experience
Solid hands-on knowledge in Microservices
Solid hands-on knowledge of AngularJS/Angular
Solid hands-on knowledge in JUnit or equivalent framework
Solid hands-on knowledge in PL/SQL and Oracle database
Good knowledge of Linux and Linux based tools
Solid understanding of software engineering and processes: design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile, and dev-ops
Proven ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
