We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Virtual Workspace Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud and drive automation processes using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and GitHub Actions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on operational efficiency, innovation, and leadership. The Senior Cloud Engineer will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and develop advanced solutions that support and grow our business.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of on-premises workloads to cloud environments

• Develop and implement advanced automation scripts and tools using Terraform, Ansible, and Python

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for image management using GitHub Actions

• Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud deployments

• Optimize cloud infrastructure to meet performance and cost targets

• Organize and conduct training sessions and seminars to enhance the skills of the team

• Maintain and update comprehensive system documentation for all cloud environments

• Resolve complex escalated issues arising from cloud operations, coordinating with other departments as necessary

• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and vendor products

• Ensure cloud migration projects are completed within planned timelines and budgets

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Advanced certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Extensive experience in cloud migration and automation

• Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions

• Deep understanding of cloud computing and virtualization software

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python

• Proven excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Proven solid analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with cloud services management and operations

• Experience with advanced automation and orchestration tools

• Familiarity with IT service management principles and frameworks such as ITIL

• Background in virtual technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop
